# Straight answers before you book a call

The questions clients and freelance engineers usually ask us first. If yours is not here, book a 30-minute call in French or English.

## Working with us

### What does SDK Enterprises do?

Three things. We build and run software: web and mobile apps, platforms, APIs, AI agents and cloud infrastructure. We find vetted freelancers for your team. And we give technical advice, from architecture reviews to project rescue.

### How does a project start?

With a 30-minute call or a short written brief about what you need, the constraint and the deadline. If we are a good fit, we follow up with a written scope, a first milestone and the names of the people involved. You see a plan before you commit to more.

### Who actually does the work?

Our in-house engineers plus vetted freelance specialists chosen for your stack. You always know who is in-house and who is freelance. SDK Enterprises holds the contract and stays accountable for delivery.

### Where are you based, and which languages do you work in?

We are a remote team and work with clients worldwide. Our registered office is in Paris, France. Calls and projects run in French or English.

### Who owns the code?

You do. Code, infrastructure and documentation live in your accounts, and handover with documentation and runbooks is part of every project. The goal is a system your team can run without us.

### What goes into a written scope?

The outcome we are responsible for, what is in and out of scope, a first milestone with acceptance criteria, the named people and the known risks. If the work uncovers something that changes the plan, we explain the consequence and agree the change with you before continuing.

## Services and expertise

### What do you build?

Web and mobile apps, platforms and APIs, real-time systems such as live dashboards and alerts, and AI agents. On the technology side: PHP 8 with Laravel, Symfony and CodeIgniter, Java with Spring Boot, Node.js and Python where they fit, React on the front end, and MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis and Elasticsearch for data.

### Which cloud providers do you work with?

AWS and Google Cloud. We worked on the team that moved 600+ Crédit Agricole internal applications from legacy VMs to AWS, delivering 50+ of those migrations ourselves. We plan migrations in waves, with a rollback path for each application, and we can keep running the platform after the move.

### What kind of AI agents do you build?

Agents that take repetitive work off operations and engineering teams: sorting requests, drafting replies, writing tests, preparing releases. Each agent uses only the tools you allow, logs every step and asks a person before anything important changes.

### What happens to our code and data in an AI agent project?

Each agent is designed around your data policy: which systems it can reach, what it logs and which model provider processes what. We integrate the OpenAI and Anthropic Claude APIs and choose per task.

### What does consulting cover?

Architecture reviews, AI strategy, technical due diligence before an investment or acquisition, rescuing a stuck project, and a fractional CTO. You get a clear written answer your own team can act on.

### Are you certified?

No. We do not hold ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification. We work to our clients' security standards, apply GDPR-aware data handling and document how each requirement is met.

## Hiring talent

### How does hiring talent work?

Tell us who you need in a short brief. We send a shortlist of vetted people who are available and have said they are interested. For each person you choose: hire them directly, or let SDK manage them. Then they start.

### What is the difference between hiring directly and letting SDK manage them?

If you hire directly, we introduce you and hand them over; they work for you on your own terms. If SDK manages them, they work on your project under SDK's contract, and we handle the paperwork, admin, payments and any replacement.

### Which roles can you find?

Backend, frontend, full-stack and mobile engineers, cloud and DevOps engineers, AI and ML engineers, data engineers, security engineers and tech leads.

### What does vetted mean?

Our engineers review each person's work history and technical fit for your need before proposing them. You see their experience, skills and why we picked them before you decide.

## SDK Pilot

### What is SDK Pilot?

SDK Pilot is the AI engineering agent we build for engineering teams. It answers questions about code and systems, carries out multi-step tasks and proposes code changes, showing its plan before it acts.

### What do the Chat, Work and Code modes do?

Chat is for questions, explanations and talking through a problem. Work takes a multi-step task, lays out a plan and carries it out step by step. Code writes a change and returns it as a diff you review before anything is kept.

### How do I stay in control of what Pilot does?

Pilot shows its plan before executing, logs every tool call and returns code changes as reviewable diffs. You can correct the approach early, trace how it reached a result and decide what is kept.

### How is my organization's data handled?

Each organization's data is isolated from every other organization's. Every tool call Pilot makes is logged, so you can see what it touched.

### Is SDK Pilot free?

Yes, during early access. Paid plans are planned and not yet available; the SDK Pilot page has the details.

### Where can I try it?

At pilot.sdk.enterprises. Early access is free: give it a question, a task or a code change and review what it proposes before anything happens.

## For freelancers

### Who can join the talent network?

Senior freelance engineers who have built and run production systems: backend, frontend, full-stack, mobile, cloud and DevOps, AI and ML, data, security and tech leads.

### What happens after I apply?

Our engineers review your work history and technical fit. If it fits, you get an email invitation to create your account, and your application answers fill in your profile.

### How do offers work?

When a client need fits your stack, you get an offer with the work, the skills, the start date and how long. You answer “I'm interested” or “Not now”. We only share your profile with the client after you say you are interested.

### How do I get paid?

When you work under SDK's contract, you get paid through the portal after connecting your payout account once. If a client hires you directly, you arrange payment with them.

### Does joining guarantee me work?

No. We send offers when a client need fits your stack and experience, so how often you hear from us depends on the work we have. We would rather be clear about that from the start.
