Crédit Agricole was moving more than 600 internal applications off legacy virtual-machine infrastructure and onto AWS. The program split the portfolio into blocks and assigned each block to a migration team.
The applications varied widely: some ran on older CodeIgniter codebases that could be upgraded, others needed to be rebuilt from scratch on the bank's internal skeleton before they could run on the new AWS infrastructure. Every migration had to fit the program's plan and standards.
What we did
- Joined the senior engineering team as one migration block, from January to April 2026.
- Assessed each application: upgrade the existing CodeIgniter code, or rebuild on the bank's internal skeleton.
- Deployed migrated applications directly on the new AWS infrastructure.
- Followed the program's block-split strategy so every team could deliver in parallel.
Results
- The program completed all 600+ application migrations.
- SDK Enterprises personally delivered 50+ of them before the engagement ended.
